Ductile iron valves and fittings

Ductile Iron and Epoxy Coating: The Hylands Quality Standard

At Hylands, we select high-quality ductile iron that meets the requirements of drinking water networks. Thanks to its spheroidal graphite structure, it provides excellent mechanical strength and high ductility, in compliance with EN 545. Our products are manufactured in EN-GJS-450-10 and EN-GJS-500-7 grades, with a tensile strength exceeding 420 MPa, ensuring reliability and long service life.

For long-term protection, Hylands equipment is coated with fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE), applied in accordance with NF EN 14901-1. This anti-corrosion coating ensures optimal adhesion, perfect sealing, and high resistance to aggressive environments, while providing a durable and environmentally responsible solution for pipelines, valves, and fittings.
